Finally, after 2 busy hectic assignment weeks.. i'm done. really wana thankz to several frens back at msia who we used to exchange work back during year 1. i think i will be more stress if without their help. it's easier to ask help from people who we used to ask each other rather than asking new people who may or may not help which can be unpredictable, especially the willingness to aid in terms of work or assignments.

time to reward ourselves. headed to Zen for steamboat- the only restaurant at bristol that serves steamboat. the food irresistable yummilicious!!!

ever since i came here, i noe i will not have my weekly-movie session anymore. no more comfy pavi seats..no more big screen. no more tugging myself with my jacket, no more cinema feel la... anyway, there's this movie that has finally released after waited for so long, intro-ed by my fren. A Must-Watched Movie - Twilight

i have yet read the novel, but i'm sure it's really good. cause the movie is good!! main actor(Robert Pattison) has charming eyes!! the guy(vampire) is so protective to the girl, love on 1st sight.

27/11/08 - Buffet @ Shanghai Night

had our 1st chinese restaurant outing at shanghai night. us guys feel bored of home-cooking meals. neway, i'm not sure whether to praise this restaurant or to critisize it. the good part : the food tastes good.. the vege, tofu, prawn, pork ribs.. only certain meat dishes taste bad, either lemon is too sour, or sweet&sour is too sweet.. but overall the dishes that we called tastes good except those 'thick-flavour'

now, the bad part of this resturant, which i gotta blog about the stupidity of the workers there. we almost got conned eating there. as we've ordered randomly and uncountable by either me or some other friends, we cudnt figure how many dishes we ordered. while eating midway, out of sudden, foods nonstop serving us. all waitor and waitresses carrying 1 dish each and placing all of them to our table. some orders were double-ordered(according to them), some dishes for sure not the ones that we ordered. i wana argued back but the guys insist of eating since the foods already been served. the foods are being served till the extend of serving us mee, dimsum which we never even see the menu or ordered at all. cudnt take it but to argue back. 1 senior waitress knew that we didnt order dimsum for sure due to some reason quietly collect back all the food. obviously we chucked all the unwanted food back to them.. lolz.. unfinished foods is charged at normal price.. wana con us by stuffing us with so much food knowing for sure there's a limit that we cudnt finish them up...ish!!

despite the super bad customer service, but i think we'll go here again cause the food indeed yummy. planning for 2nd round dimsum buffet.. hehe!!

big feast - half of the dishes isnt what we ordered and this is just quarter of the dishes that we had. lolz.

been to several daytrips. compare to kl, bristol indeed just a small town. other than the newly opened shoppingmall cabot circus, there's nothing much i can do here. luckily i found several cliqueable-mates to accompany me to city most of the weekdays after class. i love walking ard city after class, other than staying in my room sweet room.

11/10/08 - Stonehenge & Salisbury Cathedral

only tt and i managed to get the last 2 tics for this international student daytrip. lucky!! there's trip to bath and oxford as well but we chose stonehenge, used to be one of the wonders of world.
*heard the student union gonna plan these trips again soon due to popular demand* anyway, photos...

went london for daytrip together with oscar and eric. thanks both of them for accompanying me to collect another 2 luggages left by my sis to her fren which i gotta collect them. indeed a super-duper rushing trip it was but we managed to visit 6-7 tourist attractions at one go. walked nonstop and we tried not to have breaks but to continue walking from one destination to another. one day is not enough to travel around london, i needa go there again once there's study break.

I'm at Bristol

ever since i arrived here last monday, been busy unpacking, buying household stuff, groceries, foods, filling up my cupboard, wardrobe.. etc. the past days is like a routine.. wakeup->wait for the bus->sit 20-30 minutes bus journey downtown->shopping->carry loaded bags with my poor 2 hands->back home

14/09/08 - DimSum @ Jin Xuan

countdown : 1 more day till i fly.

other than kg's, dimsum is my another must-eat-alot-food before i have no more chance after i leave. neway, went to our two/three-sundays-once dimsum session together with des, siwong, jeanie, sammy and leonard. 6 of us nonstop ordering and stacking the plates, especially the common siumai, har gau.

p/s : never ever order the coconut thingy cos it costs a bomb.. and des purposely ordered 2 of it knowing i'm gonna pay for this meal.

i'd blog about this dimsum restaurant before which became our dimsum eateries ever since it opened last may, but never post any photo of it.

had dinner at fridays together with nic.

after dinner, headed to so-called final gathering at Barclub with the usual hangout kakis. why choose that place for my final gathering leh? whoever who went should know it's freaking boring and un-fun. till des, kath and i rather have our maggi goreng at tat particular mamak. btw, thankz kath for ur farewell gift.

after weeks of scheduling, finally meet up for supper with liwui, singyee and shanlin at our usual hangout place - kg's. too bad sl finished her degree and graduated while i'm jst about to go uk. less 1 friend that i can ask for help or take care of me.. blekz.. lw and sy havto take care of me when i'm at uk.. and tw if u're reading this as well. xp

08/09/08 - OMIGAWKD!! i've been sick the past few days. left with 1 week b4 i leave msia, and i fall sick. is this a sign of home-sick? with no specific reason, i'd had high fever thruout the weekend. i'm not suppose to fall sick at this moment. i have insufficient time to hangout with friends, eat more msia foods... arghh!!
